Tough luck for anyone in a wheelchair. It is quite a steep hill. He could easily have parked on the grass if there were no parking spaces available when he dumped this heap.

The white car on the other side has taken up all of that path so maybe on this road they expect pedestrians, etc to use the road. Are they both owned by the same person ?

No idea, I don't live there, I was just passing through after a three mile walk.
The pathways here meander all over the place and in many places there just isn't one, most folks walk down the middle of the road. It is very poorly laid out and there is an excess of cars in many streets.

There is often a van parked there though, other cars too.

Well,

My personal thoughts on BMW drivers 'with attitude' has been confirmed ( again) this morning.
My wife and I parked on a local retail park this morning, having an early coffee outside Costa.

The car park is something like 99% empty, ( probably 200 spaces in all) so I sat there with my drivers door open.. letting a bit of airflow into the car..
Minding our own business having a chat and a coffee.

Enter BMW knob...

He decides to park over my right shoulder, almost taking my open door off, and visibly shouting T*at at me and shaking his head.

As he exited his BMW.. I said "isn't the car park big enough for you mate?"

At which a torrent of verbal abuse followed, offering to 'take me out' and eventually he said I haven't got time to talk to you.. and then told me to Eff off.
He then strutted off to M&S cafe with his newspaper in hand..
He was a similar age to me, (60s') and should have known / behaved better...

I rest my case... in my personal experience, most drivers (caveat maybe not all) of premiums German cars DO HAVE ATTITUDE!
This guy had 99% of the rest of the car park to park, but he CHOSE to almost take my open door off ?
Why do people behave like this?

Clearly a PLEB !

;o)

Well done for not letting his tyres down while he was in M&S Steve!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

LOL Mick,

I feared he'd do that to ours!
So as we were gonna pick up some bits from M&S.. we moved it to their car park..
and NO.. we didn't use their cafe either... ;o)

No excuses for such behaviour. Maybe he had Belgium in a sweepstake and you were the first person he saw and wanted to take it out on somebody so purposely parked next to you. Imagine what he was like when younger, must have been more of a complete idiot.

He did a tremendous job of keeping the stereotype alive and well

I find a lot of people in their sixties are incredibly grumpy - I think the realisation that their lives are entering a new chapter unhinges them somewhat. Either they're like me, revelling in their second childhoods and thus very happy and content or they realise that life has now bypassed them and there's stuff-all they can do about it except drive a German ponce-mobile and behave like a compete spoilt brat.
