Full supply (maximum OCR) = Maximum vacuum
No supply (minimum OCR) = No vacuum (atmospheric pressure)............ So, with the engine off there should be no vacuum do you think ? (I had vacuum. I heard it release)

I find a variable vacuum in such a small pipe hard to fathom........

Can you clarify what you did to hear it release?

You may find this manufacturer data sheet helpful: https://www.partsinmotion.co.uk/xlist/5 ... _51393.pdf

But which vacuum hose - the incoming "supply" or the wastegate actuator?

Did you try blowing through the filter?

Opened the old one out of curiosity...it has a (very dirty) internal filter as well.

Cleaning the filter has been known to cure issues - some of the older ones had a sponge type filter, but yours looks a bit more like gauze.

It has the outer filter as well as this inner filter....this has the same product number but is different inside than the one I saw being dissembled on the internet.

Does the Air Doser play a part in the turbo pressure readings ?
Only other thing i can think off is a vac leak somewhere

I believe that more vacuum closes that wastegate and produces more turbo pressure, so a vacuum leak would give the opposite error code.

It does however reduce the number of suspect components to the wastegate valve, the actuator, the control valve (already replaced) and the vacuum tubing (a blockage could cause this fault).

I will try a manual test of the valve via Lexia tomorrow.........Can you test the valve via Lexia ?

I was also wondering why the fault code description has change with the new one on ?

“...Has change”? It’s the same fault code as you had earlier P11AA.

The code has quite a few possibilities for the culprit though, as per the fault description I put up earlier.

Before it was not the same description, code yes the same, the description was just pressure related before....now it has this "open circuit" stuff in a second box."
