This unit is the RT4 and RT5 system and is made by Magneti Marelli
Main differences between RT4 & RT5 - RT5 has Bluetooth Hands Free, faster Navigation calculation and on C4 & C4 Picasso only, USB ports and a High-Res screen.

What is it you want to know? You've basically just put a load of settings there.
Are you asking if they are correct for your RT4?
Hello,
I would like to know what parameters belong to my vin number?
Hi-Fi Amplifier parameter?
And what should the other parameters be set to?
Sorry for my English, it's not very good, I'm asking about Hungary.
So if I understand you correctly, you have made changes to the BSI and cannot remember what the settings should be? This will take some time, so I'll see if I have time later to do this.
I have a similar issue than melj from the first post on my 407.
After letting it sleep without battery for 2 years, I got the same message on my RT4: “Please insert upgrade cd” when I restarted it and no sounds anymore.
It wokred perfectly before this "sleeping time".
My RT4 had already the Last update available (8.31)
I tried to play with mirascript to fix it but without success.
I tried the diagbox but did not have error on any the speakers.
My vin number is: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I don't know what elseto try. Could you please help me?
It's likely that the backup batteries for the unit have discharged, so have lost memory over 2 years.
There is a backup battery inside the unit. I suggest you put any changes you may of made using Mirascripts or Diagbox back to their original settings before you do anything else. Then the unit may need either a new memory battery or will need to be charged up from the vehicle when you are using it for a few days to allow enough time to charge it.
Well since you posted in this thread, I have assumed it is, but if you are not sure, provide t he VIN and I'll check. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.
Sorry my english is not perfect, I meant to ask if what you called the "unit" was indeed the RT4 module (just to be sure where to search for the battery).
Should I completely remove the RT4 unit form the car and dismantle it in order to find the battery?
I posted my vin number in my first message.
I also forgot to add that I canceled every modification or test that I did with either mirascript or diagbox since none of them was succesfull.
1) Ok so yes, you do have the RT4.
2) The backup battery is located next to the fan on the RT4 it will have a black case - that should be the battery and spares can be ordered from Peugeot or Citroen as it's the same part.
3) Be warned that replacing the battery may not resolve the problems. It will cure the loss of the permanent live battery feed, but it won't fix what has already happened, as you seem to have lost your User.com data that has the configuration for the vehicle including equipment like parking assistance and menu settings.
4) The only way I know how to restore this is from the dealer who will need to set up the GPS settings and telecode the unit for you as if it was a new factory fitted unit, or locate somebody with the exact same car model and the same trim level and equipment and RT4 system, and ask them for a copy of their User.Com date that they could provide you using a Mirascript commend to backup their data and send it to you. As long as you still have the display screen working so you can see the questions and answers, you could then use Mirascripts to restore the file from USB back to your hard drive in the RT4.
