Very much so! There's some real evangelists out there on the internet who won't have it that anything other than premium brand product could be of any good to the engine!

There's also folks stuck in the dark ages / typically American view in that oil service life anything beyond 3000 miles is abusing the engine severely!

Rarer at the other extreme there's a few nutcases who believe changing the oil at all is some sort of scam by them bogey men "big oil"

That's what I use and have done for several years now with no problems. They also supply most other types of oil, I got 5 litres of chain saw chain oil for much less that I could locally. The do gearbox, steering box steering rack, axle oil too, and hydraulic oil.

3000mls oil changes are for circuit race cars or highly remapped cars. NA engines car run easily 6000-9000mls on one oil change with today's oil technology.

I use 5w30 mannoel energy
5w40 elite
5w50 stahlsyn
10w60 racing

5w40 in my TU1 1987 and TU3 also 5w40 A3/B4
