Re: Rusty Wrecks-Your Photos (Originals please)
I know Cullercoats, dropped by there in the course of a visit to Tynemouth and/or the nearby Crown Carvery in the past, nice spot.
Saw this in the course of getting some dinner yesterday. Nothing unusual about a Moggy, but this unrestored and rather knackered example (the extent of the rust isn't obvious in the pic) charmed me; not least because of the "Dedicated to my Mother and Father" script beneath the passenger window.
Clearly someone loves it, good luck for the next MOT !

Shame they couldn't find a way of distressing the plastic side window fillers.

Re: Rusty Wrecks-Your Photos (Originals please)
anyone remember this ...
owner had the van a fortnight from new, been extensively keyed, got fed up so had it wrapped in this! 2 months later, not touched at all!! Vw had a Shock when it went in for first service!!!
am kicking myself for not snapping it on boxing day, walking the pooch up through Delabole to inlaws, a bungallow on the outer edges of the village being refurbished, at the bottom corner of the garden, surrounded by long grass is the garage, nestled inside is an red FSO Polonez!!

Timmo...............that looks like an eminently repeatable event unless the inlaws just get a visit once a year on Boxing Day

Take your camera, act as suspicious as possible, and get us a gallery of FSO pics

May even rival this one......the translation of the article header Samochód marze? is "Car of Dreams"

About 4 years ago there was another Gold 164, I presume the one now in the undergrowth was the "spares" car.
