Are you sure that's not referring to the Daytime Running Lamps? Only models with Directional Bi Xenons will have the option to turn off the directional feature, but in either case, it won't work if you don't have them fitted.
If you want to know if they did have Xenons originally, pop your VIN up.

100% sure it says ''directional headlights'', can't really find history if it had bi-xenon's before or not though.. It's totally fine, I was just curious if it had them before or not, because it confused me, this option

I wonder if a previous owner has been fiddling with Lexia/Diagbox and ticking boxes on the screen where they shouldn't be

Very well could be, either way, it's a pointless option on the small screen

I'm 99% sure I've got this menu option in my non-Xenon car, and that it refers to the left and right driving lights/foglights that illuminate when you turn cornersivancro96 wrote: 24 Dec 2022, 19:19 100% sure it says ''directional headlights'', can't really find history if it had bi-xenon's before or not though.. All C5 X7 (halogen and xenons) have dedicated corner lights in headlights, and they can be disabled in the menu. Bi-xenons also swivel in bends if corner lights are enabled.

Dear Marc,GiveMeABreak wrote: 30 Oct 2018, 07:57 Hi Scott - yes, take it to ATS or somewhere like that as they have the proper beam testing equipment used for the MOTs. Just ask them to adjust the beams for you given that you have now had your suspension height settings corrected.
They did mine for me once for no charge when I had my MOT done - not long after I mistakenly turned the wrong screw on the headlamp unit whilst doing another job and thought I'd reversed the number of turns - but I obviously had mucked up the beam alignment.
It should only take them a few minutes generally.
referring to your reply to Scott,
I had my left headlamp replaced. I have a feeling it lights too low. I know it levels automatically. I did some search and now I am pretty much convinced that some initial adjustment is needed.
Could you take a look at the following figure and confirm that I am correct and those are the two screws for the initial level adjustment.
Kind regards,
Przemek
Update 2025/04/22
Just small updated from my side - my left headlight was to low, as I thought. The adjustment was done at the MOT station with this 'g' screw. Now it seems to be ok.
