Thats the plan, the 1.6 is quicker than a 1.9D but needs to be driven hard to get it go, plus the bottom end rattles a bit so wont last for ever.

now i have a citroen for this x really. And its not to far to me. I might drop in with the basic xantia.

I would love to be there, but work denies me that chance. Still, I will get to one Rally this year.

It's a long long time since I've been to a car rally of any kind so it would be nice to go to this one.

Can't put myself down as No 5 yet but will sort summat so I can be there with my trusty black Xant.

Eddie, you can turn up in a pedal car for all we care. It does not have to be a Citroen. That you come and say hello is the most important thing...

It's not the car JIm; the amount of time and money I've spent on it in the past 5 years is unreal - and it has to be. It's in bloody good nick for its age but it's no show car, it's my everyday transport which I rely on and which takes me everywhere.
