You see more British tin than we do Adam

Ahh I have fond memories of Bedford CF Shaggin' Wagons... All the rage in the 70s, as was shagging...

Yes plenty points for that :)

Well not surprising the green goddess doesn't make the 120 in I-Spy Classic Cars.
It was otherwise known as a Bedford RLHZ self-Propelled Pump.
From Wiki
Their main role was to pump huge quantities of water from lakes, rivers, canals and other sources into cities hit by a nuclear attack. The machines could be used in a relay system over a number of miles, with Green Goddesses at regular intervals to boost the water pressure. Firefighting was a secondary role.
They also carried an independant petrol driven Coventry Climax Godiva Fire Pump.
Image

One vehicle which does appear in the 120, and utilises a "Coventry Climax" is the good old Hillman Imp at 25 points

So with that terrible piece of logic its worth at least 25 and for a picture, and a drive it got to be double points. Its a 50 from me :!:

Tell us that you put a genuine fire out with it and you can have a ton!

'fraid not :( I did get the two tones working and did turn on the blue light though :)

The one in the picture does have all its kit and has got a little over 3600 miles on the clock
It's got a misfire at wide open throttle, I did look for the OBD port on it to try some diagnostics but couldn't find it - any suggestions where it is :-D

Another yellow one today, a W plate Opel Manta in Banbury, was turning into Tesco as I passed by on the way to a friend's place.

Remember from when I was staying here for a while that Banbury seemed to be the home of about 90% of the 70s and 80s cars still on the road, spotted more things in the couple of weeks I was staying here than in about a year before...
Current fleet:
07 Volvo V70 SE D5, 88 Renault 25 Monaco, 85 Sinclair C5, 84 Trabant 601S, 75 Rover 3500, 73 AC Model 70.

Is that a vinyl wrap on the bonnet, a very mild rat-look? Must get Vauxhall Calibra type points.....only 10...seems a bit harsh...go on then if it had the tiniest bit of black vinyl on it take 20!

Black bonnets don't work on Red cars

Also the wrap material would (even if black) insulate anyway, defeats the object to use wrap.

And no....not my car

For extreme yellowness, spotted a new but broken down Pontiac Firebird in bright yellow, on the way back from Cosford.

Otherwise, zilch.

As an anti-dote to the yellow feast how about 50 shades of grey. Of the eight exterior colours available on the C1 3 are shades of Grey. Spotted this example hidden away on the mean back streets of Leyburn no points for a classic car spot though :-D
The Citroën C1 is available in eight exterior colours (Caldera Black, Gallium Grey, Carlinite Grey, Tapenade Grey, Lipizzan White, Smalt Blue, Scarlet Red and Sunrise Red) and can also be personalised with bi-tone colour options. The soft-top version, Airscape, is also bi-toned.
