OK, I'd like a ride in a Xantia AND an XM! My previous car was a Volvo V70 T5, so I know what performance and large cars are (not sure about the best ride in the world though!)citroenxm wrote:Tell you what. Forget a xantia.. get a ride in an xm. . You will LOVE. It. If i have my 24v s1 manual at a rally and hopefully cxm this year then you will know what performance and large cars are then. Plus the best ride in the world. . The xantia just. Doesn't touch the xm at all. ..
Me neither, must be a C4 VTS thing (lol as well!) (never thought I'd ever use the expression, lol!) (as I'm an old git!)daviemck2006 wrote:I don't lololCitroJim wrote: Driving a tin-springer must be purgatory these days. No wonder so many drivers look so miserable...

I've seen lots of pictures of your CX, would love to see it real life!CGATCX25GTITURBO wrote:

I just wondered what you have tried for the plastics since then. I recently got some aptly named G Technic C4 http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/ex ... -restorer/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Citroening wrote:Excellent!
As some of you may have read elsewhere I waxed the C4 the other day, but unfortunately it seems someone had been a little over exuberant with silicone based shine-in-a-can which has not reacted well with the finish of the C4...![]()
It polishes off with a microfibre but it's not right as it's finished all blotchy. A wash and another wax tomorrow will sort it. Damn annoying though as it was looking so good...
My own fault really but the plastics shine-in-a-can brought the few pieces of exterior plastic up lovely although did it too soon after waxing. I'll do them first, from now on...

There's some vids on YouTube of Neil's CGAT - worth a watch...Fake Concern wrote:I've seen lots of pictures of your CX, would love to see it real life!
You don't happen to still have the Bacarrat wheeltrims?Bannedbiker wrote:Wouldn't two horses be better? Deux Chevaux? 2cv?myglaren wrote:You can come in or on anything you like Martin.Bannedbiker wrote:I'd like to come (enjoyed the one last year) but I sold my Xantia a few weeks back.
Would it be ok to come in a vehicle sold in the same Japanese showrooms as Citroen's in the late 1980's/early 1990's?
I'm suggesting a 1997 Eunos Roadster.
Even the handbook and folder have Citroen chevrons beside the Eunos badge.
Heres hoping,
Martin.
If you come on a horse it might get barbecued though
If anyone would be interested I've got a few Xantia parts I don't need so will be bringing them with me. A couple of brand new lower ball joints (Lemforder), 4 hub caps (style of hubcap is Baccarat as used on S2 Xantia, fits 15" wheel) and a set of roofbars for Xantia or XM (assuming I can get them in a Eunos/Mx5).
