Love the MGA, so anyone know off the top of their heads where it was first registered?

Well if I tell you it was one of 13 Historic Counties and was bordered by Montgomeryshire, Brecknockshire, and Cardiganshire and (Shropshire and Herefordshire) you should be able to work it out!

Yes and the MG Brand, still very much alive and kicking in China although not concentrating on two-seater sports cars these days .

A great set of spots today out on my afternoon bike ride...

Firstly a gorgeous two-tone pink and white Ford Zephyr MK II (1956-62) which looked surprisingly lovely in the sunshine and then a brown X-plate MK1 Ford Fiesta in immaculate condition and finally a very boxy white kit-car... No idea what it was but it was not all that big, was a kind of estate/hatchback/Jeepy sort of thing without a curve anywhere. Everything was ruler-straight - A Volvo stylist's wet dream almost

I'd love to know what it was... The front bore some vague resemblance to a 1980s Lagonda in that it was very square and tapered down to quite a sharp and narrow grille...

Any thoughts?

Any idea on roughly how old it was ? A Rickman Ranger ?

No, not a Rickman Ranger Bobins, the bonnet sloped at a very great angle down to the front... It was going the opposite way and only got a quick look. Saw no number plate on it but did see a name on the left front corner of the bonnet in very 70s-esque typescript...

Definitely a Zephyr? this pink and white Zodiac is pictured at the Bedfordshire Classic Motor Show at Woburn
in 2015 so may be a car fairly local to you!

I only noted the name on the back started with a Z and made an assumption... I can't take in too much detail of cars when cycling and this shows up my cognitive difficulties and spatial awareness issues rather perfectly

I have to concentrate on my riding...

My "result" came after several combinations of google query, plus a scan of "madaboutkitcars" but the one that came up with the bacon was googling the phrase "kit car square", and out popped the Hustler a little way down the image list, linking back to that article. With Buckinghamshire and the Lagonda being linked in the article as well...Bingo!

No, it definitely was that! 100% that in fact... I can't be sure but there's a chance it was the same one... No idea at all of the numberplate on it.. Did not even see it...

Only saw the 'Hustler' decal as blobs of black against the white background...

Have to say the re-runs of "The Avengers" on ITV4 are a classic car fest. Add in the corny,far-fetched, intriguing storylines, the fashions, the interiors, the furniture and you are onto a winner with me!
