Roger take and post a picture of the wires and plug going to the air dryer i will try to dig out some old pictures of mine, from memory they were easy to see the difference in them.
Also look for posts by Clogzz i have to admit everything i know has been copied and added to with a bit of my experience

I know what the wire numbers are anyway but then again I am fairly sure that the colours do not match the official manual which is more than irritating. What's the point of them if they contain inaccurate information?

Colours are irrelevant on Xantia wiring, only the wire numbers matter.

I didn't believe him. Why do Citroen put colours in their manuals if not relevant, do you know?
