The hardware may be tough, but anything running Windows is prone to failure.

Last Thursday morning, I think it was, H-van on the pedestrian concourse outside Canary Wharf tube - a "food truck" obviously, but didn't seem to be trading.

Saturday morning leaving Newton Abbot on the Totnes road, a rather nice red 'n' white Dolly coming into town.

I've mentioned before the number of '50's - '80's cars still around on the English Riviera (saw an Anglebox on a garage forecourt on Sunday - it barely registered) but Saturday's sighting of a black Stingray in Goodrington stood out among the more commonly seen "B"'s & Stags.

Still would love a Fuego, if you think they look good in silver you should see one in metallic blue! It was a project car being worked on in the Motor Vehicle Tech. workshop when I was in college, since that day I've wanted one!

I sat in a Fuego when they were first introduced at the motor show and also a Reno 18. First impression of the Fuego which I still remember - no legroom.

No French cars in Memphis last weekend but on the Monday I did see a Mercedes with a French front plate, presumably a personal import & as Tennessee doesn't require front plates & it'd been left on.

Passed a v. nice dk green 206 coming up the 303 on Tursday & on Friday an XM working for it living, towing a trailer in Holland - & a Xantia similarly employed in Germany.

Yesterday & today more sightings than you could shake a stick at, true I was at a car show - but they'd all been driven there, including some not supported by this forum: Alpina, Talbot Matra, Facel Vega. At least one of NEARLY everthing else, so picking out the more unusual/interesting: Pug 203, 402, 504 dropside truck & camper, R. 6, 15,16 & 20, DS "Dandy" coupe, SM (bearing Citroen-Maserati Club Germany sticker - so they must have more than us) but no examples of the models with which we are possibly more familiar.

Saw another silver xantia estate today Deep down West (penzance), W plate, had rear arch work done as fetching primer grey blend on the drivers rear, riding a little low on the back, tyre just level with the arch, front looked a little high, didn't take a look at spec as it passed, more so due to my eldest daughter and one of my good riding buddies pointing it out! ;-)
