Had to take the bleed valve out the old unit , as you can see, the photo of everything that needs to be moved ! Boy what a mare , then a photo of it all back together and at last a working gauge , im in the car now letting it run up it's been purged of air but we all know sometimes these don't always let go of the air , the picasso was a nightmare for bleeding

By far the most useful bit of kit I've bought recently was the funnel bleeding kit. I've bled all the cars in my maintenance fleet and extracted hidden bubbles from all of them, well worth it and it was less than £20: viewtopic.php?p=828389#p828389

Thanks Jim, just did a 15mile test run , all ok Shopping later with a small meal out which is about 45 mile round trip so another test run with coolant levels but all good so far. The top mount on the passenger side knocks now and again other than that all is pretty good, £495 car running lovely.

45 mile round tripped ended being 120 as we just went off like two teenagers lol car drove well coolant level stayed on the mark , driving back home I listed in my head other stuff that will need doing as one could be a fail on the mot and that's the gaiters on the inner tie rods which ive got so that's another job to do , think I will complete the whole front both sides as ive all parts needed, driver side front leg looks fairy new but the passenger side looks a bit older , yesterday I built a complete front leg which new top mount spring and all the other bits new so yes that can be put on aswell so that knock will dissappear. Mot just before next month come to a close so I've plenty of time to do all these things .

Latest jobs completed on the 207.
BOTH SIDES ... Inner,outer track and tie rods plus new gaiters done.
Full service , plus tracking all completed .

MOT next so let's see how it goes. Think it's up around 23rd ish so will try a week before that date .

Now looks at the attached photos , the drop links according to what was in the bags were for the 207, now ive never seen this type on a 207 as ive always known them to be the same ends both facing the same way , so what are they for ? Look at the state of the oil that came out of it ! More lumps than a bad gravey mix.

Checking the proper history of the car the last service was 2019 ! But it hasnt done to many miles in that time but enough to warrant a good engine flush . I've used a 5w 30 fully synthetic oil and a genuine oil and air filter . I used the little car today and can truly say how nice it felt to drive very responsive on the peddle , even my lovely wife said she felt the difference, so i must of done something wright, Most of today's run was motorway it sat at 70 and was very smooth and quiet .

The screw in the tire is the 308cc, ive checked my cctv and got some (-expletive removed-) about 1.45 am baseball cap dark clothes, bends down near front of car and the dog goes mad then this piece of s**t runs off , I know who it is now as the face is as clear as day. I think I will ask this individual why he did it and make them buy me a new tyre im sure he will be happy to oblige.

As for the photos of the old gaiter that is how it was in the car !
The inner tie rods tool is a brilliant tool and wasn't that expensive I paid about four quid odd for it , brilliant piece of kit too
Oh that drop link was on my side it was so lose I pulled it was from is home buy hand then had to use mole grips to be able to undo the nut. The new set have made a massive difference.

Update the person has been charged with several motor offences included breaking windows slashing tyres and so on , 18 yr old what a nice start to his life , potentially a waste of space if not guided the right way

M.O.T 3.30 today and what a great result. My little less than £500 purchased sailed it's test . So pleased.
