Mine is the same, and had never had winter tyres or (prior to my ownership) servicing anywhere other than the dealer, So I presume that they just made them that way.

So you're saying you have TPMS sensors fitted Mike? Must of been a decision to just fit them back in the day rather than procure wheels without them fitted. Wouldn't see that today though as that's £500 retail in today's money with all the cost savings they're trying to make, - heck I never even got my passenger glovebox light that was supposed to have it along with rear arm rest cup holders due to penny pinching! :-D

Yes TPMS sensors fitted, but not in the vehicle spec. I thought that maybe the dealer had upgraded the wheels to 18" as this was apparently their demonstrator (they started the warranty 6 months before they registered it), but the wheels are the spec shown in the build sheet. Maybe the 18" wheels were usually fitted to higher spec cars which had TPMS, but also fitted to "base spec" cabriolets.

So left is 'INFLATION PRESSURE LOSS INDICATOR' and right, fitted (or not) to this car is 'WITHOUT TYRE DEFLATION INDICATOR'

Your guess is as good as mine as to why they use different terminology?!?
It might have been more understandable in a table?

Hi Marc
That no problem I don't want TPMS, I was annoyed at er in doors then myself more,
Er in Doors for driving with a flat tyre when it has TPMS on it, well my fault it doesn't I told her the wrong info. annoyed at myself now
annoyed at myself even more because with the new wheels I bought for her nice shiny new real chrome not plastic covers tyre valves (not cheap) only to have to buy 4 more TMPS valves so we could fit the sensors it didn't need, which at the time was ok as well it has got TPMS onboard........ OH no it hasn't!
So at the moment I am driving it as it has the spare on (summer tyre) passenger side and the all weather tyre on the driver side which I have to pump up every morning as it has gone low again whilst the new tyres get delivered, penance I suppose you could call it, for giving her the wrong info, interesting acceleration!

I had a play last night on the way home from work, and just wondered although I don't use the car it has the NG4 in it on navigation I guided it to my house to see how it "thinks" and its not bad at all although a bit of a fag to input destinations etc, I did notice though for a factory unit it does not mute/lower radio sound when giving instructions like my Megane TomTom does which I thought was a bit odd considering the price of this unit new.

At lunch to day I skipped through some of the Nav setting and can't find any kind of tick box, so in its present state it competes with the radio to give you directions which I thought rather odd, so you guys out there with NG4's does yours compete or lower the radio sound on Nav instruction.
As I said my Megane in-dash tom-tom does mute sound for Nav instructions and it is a far cheaper unit than the NG4, so I was a little surprised the NG didn't, but I don't know if it does, it may not.
You see I shouldn't get in her car for long, way to inquisitive and then myther you guys with questions.
Sorry, not long now and she will have it back, (hopefully tomorrow last day) and you will be safe again.

1) Try Voice guidance - but be warned She's hopeless with Welsh placenames! May as well be speaking Mandarin.
2) To lower navigation volume, adjust the main volume whilst she is speaking.
3) You can turn voice guidance on or off as needed (using voice commands) or in the navigation menu.
4) You may need to run through the voice guidance tutorial and trainer, so it recognises your voice more easily (especially if the last owner was one of the 'Krankies') :-D

I might well leave that to the wife then so it can learn her voice, imagine it listened to me and not her, wow I would never live that down EVER!
Welsh name may well be a laugh, my TomTom pronounces Denbigh Road as Dimbitch road always good for a smile and St Asaph well I have no idea what it is trying to say.
Turning onto my Estate last night you turn onto Bron Wern the Peugeot pronounces it as Bronwen all in one word, so yes the names are always good for a laugh.
We take my old TomTom Via on hols for navigation and some of the Portuguese towns are hysterical worse than our pronunciation.
I have to say I don't like the grey side screen behind the blue pointing arrow on the 308 nav, I find it difficult to see the arrow on the grey, unless it is an age thing, but what I thought was rather swish you get the orange on black direction arrows and road names in the dash panel as well in front of you, I do like this car, it is quick and responsive the down side for me are the pedals now as they have added a foot rest to the 308, the pedals are now closer together than they were in the 307 so in my work boots it gets all bit clumsy to change gear and drive smoothly in the 308 especially quick changing coming on to the A55 but still does not spoil the enjoyment.

It's probably trying give an English pronunciation to the Welsh names.

Denbigh: Dinbych
St Asaph: Llanelwy

Still makes you smile, and inevitably make you ask "where's that"
It will frighten the life out of me if one day it turns around and answers back "find it yourself then" and switches off Nav.
