I'm betting on almost 100% to the purge valve, which is located below the airbox housing. To reach it, need to remove the full housing.
Hi. How are things going with the car? I've already done something. I'm sick and I can't work on the car yet.

Hello, having the exact same problem with a DS7 Crossback 1.6 petrol 225, who can I even find or go to, to be able to go through with a diagnostic tool and fix it? It’s been to 3 separate people and they haven’t a clue. I’m so lost on what to do!

I solved the problem. Purge valve was a problem. He was letting the air go throught.

did you replace it or repair it? did you think about disabling it programmatically? maybe there is a part number?

Many thanks to @MiroMirchev for the link to the Dutch site. I have been puzzling over the P306D DTC for a while. Like others, I couldn't find a part number for the solenoid valve anywhere, so I had to find the valve first.
In my 2019 508SW GT 225, it lives beneath the air filter box at the rear of the engine, it pokes out slighly from under the inlet manifold (gearbox side).
Part number V759557380
I fitted a salvage part from an RCZ, straight away I could tell it was running better. Originally the check engine light started coming on every 5 weeks or so, that went down to 1 or 2 days in the end. Although it's only been a few days since fitting it, I'm quietly confident it has fixed the problem.
Hope this helps others.

If I clear the DTCs and start driving long distance, the car might pass 1000 km even more without any issues, due to higher speeds out of city. In the moment when enter somewhere for lower speeds, active cruise fault is first, check engine second. That's why maybe the throttle valve makes sense in our case, because it is connected with throttle position sensor and doing some failings at low speeds. In my case, maybe there are no circumstances to be the carbon canister...
for me the problem only appeared at 800 rpm or at extremely low speeds, only in traffic. the problem is that the car requires an intake pressure of approximately 960 mbar but because of the broken canister it had somewhere around 990 1000 mbar, hence all the problems.

Glad, that it helps and to the all others - P306D connected with coherence of the air intake is either the purge valve of the EVAP or the whole EVAP canister itself. It is located, as you described - below the air box.
