Apart from the gloomy prediction above of ecu replacement, it doesn't take much in the way of air leaks to stop these engines. Check the usual culprits like the turbo air intake and the pcv hoses- their o rings eventually leak. Then start checking all of them.
And you should consider whether your scanner is appropriate. Live data matters.

This could be as suggested by gwest a vacuum leak or possibly a fueling problem or a plugged exhaust. Can You get fuel trims to help us diagnose it.Doed the exhaust smell fully.
