Hey, I have a problem with my Peugeot 508 4Hybrid, 2012.
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
After replacing the right rear hub and levers, error P1ABB appeared, which I cannot clear, and associated errors P1ABE, P1ABF, U1318. I tried changing the gearbox position sensor - no change. Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Peugeot 508 RXH HYBRID 4 P1ABF
I have similar problems with my January 2013 508RXH, VIN VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] engine number DYZC4019867 with getting on for 150,000 miles under her belt.
My drive belt tensioner started to get noisy and was jumping around and the fault was diagnosed by my local garage as the bearings in the hybrid generator. I had them replaced by the well-known advertiser on eBay and the unit was refitted by the garage at the beginning of May with a new belt and now it has a myriad of problems. They've re-set the belt counter and cleared umpteen fault codes but still the car plays up after a few hundred metres and then refuses to go into other modes than Auto. Sometimes it limps too and they say it's dropping the turbo. The power flow diagram shows power from the generator to the battery when the car's cold or after the isolation plug (?) on the top right of the inverter is removed and replaced - sometimes to clear the "STOP" message to even get the car to move. They don't have a Peugeot Planet 2000 (Lexia-3) but do have a pretty good diagnostic kit and they've even subscribed to a specialist service which has controlled it remotely. I've a very good relationship with them (see my list of cars!) and they have no problems with me helping them with work on my own cars and they've given me a list of codes they're "struggling with", as follows:-
P1B1B
P1AC4 (1AC4)
U12C6 (D266)
UO167 (C167)
Both they and the specialists they've consulted now suspect the inverter. I can get one from a scrapped car but they've been told that it can't be replaced by a second-hand one because of the immobiliser. The one I can get is from a DS5 so I don't know if there are differences even though the part number is the same.
Any help would be very much appreciated as the garage have had the car since late April and I'm desperate as my lady and I are due to go abroad in her soon.

Re: Peugeot 508 RXH HYBRID 4 P1ABF
Many, many, many thanks.
The obvious questions now are:-
How has refitting the original generator caused all this? At first the faults only seemed to appear when the car began to warm up so could not bleeding the hybrid cooling system properly when first refitting the generator be the cause?
Can a second-hand hybrid control ECU be fitted and, if so, how is it done?
Can a DS5 hybrid control ECU be fitted to a 508RXH?

Re: Peugeot 508 RXH HYBRID 4 P1ABF
Unfortunately not. The DS5 has one or 2 similar components, but the ECUs are different. These have specialist requirements and training to work on, so I can't help with that, sorry.
