It’s iPhone XS on the latest sw.
NAC Wave2 is up to date as well.
Early facelift DS5 indeed had Wave1 for a short period of time in 2016. By the end of the year it was replaced by Wave2.
I don’t think they changed the BSI in facelift models to accommodate minor differences in head units.
And even if they did, wouldn’t think notifications had anything to do with BSI. I believe it’s down to head unit and the connected phone.
Now, we both got iPhones and Wave2, but no notifications on my side?
Weird…
Notifications on NAC Wave2?

Re: Notifications on NAC Wave2?
They did change the BSI for Mid Life vehicles and there were quite a few variations depending on kit including Navigation System and Traffic info from what I can see.

Re: Notifications on NAC Wave2?
Back with some development on this; notofications are present on even older (prefacelift) DS5 with retrofitted NAC Wave2.
So it rules out the BSI thing. Still trying to find the cause of the same thing being absent on mine!
Could it really be Connected Services or geo-location related? The photo is from Portugal and with Conected services activated and available...

Re: Notifications on NAC Wave2?
I have connected services, but I’m not seeing how this would affect a Bluetooth connection. The connected services are PSA services that need activating via subscription like Real time traffic and Live services, petrol prices, parking space availability in car parks, speed cameras, etc. etc.
So I can’t see how these have anything to do with the email and SMS notifications from apps on a phone.
Must be the phone profile or head unit version perhaps?

Re: Notifications on NAC Wave2?
And it hasn't got anything to do with Services nor with location indeed! It's simply down to phone settings!
Just like you sespected (and with always helpful imput from DS Portugal FB group) I realised I hadn't got this option turned ON within my iPhone BT / DS 5 settings. Once enabled, two missing options appeared: And notifications for SMS work: Just can't yet get eMail notifications to work the same way!?
For some reason the list is empty and all the options in the bottom are irresponsive / greyed out. So this still needs some investiogation, but it must be within the phone settings somewhere... Even if I don't solve this bit, the main thing is that notifications for more important SMS work, so I'm mostly content with this find as it was bugging me ever since i retrofitted the NAC!!
Thanks to Marc and Leloman for their valuable contribution!

Re: Notifications on NAC Wave2?
There you go! Nice one. As for email, it may have something to do with the default mail app.
I haven’t got any ‘Mail’ app accounts set up as I use Outlook. I know IOS doesn’t read email from outlook or notifications via Siri if you don’t use the IOS Mail app.
I find Outlook has more features and Apple haven’t bothered doing anything with the Mail app for years, so it’s not very good.
I may experiment with it to see if this has any effect.
