You have a SMEG Analogue Radio Receiver.
ok, but what version of SMEG is this? There are several types of them SMEG_IV2_UPG or SMEG_PLUS_UPG or SMEG_UPG, which one please ?

Look at what firmware version is fitted.

3.xx - SMEG
4.xx was fitted, I think, to early SMEG+ but you're unlikely to have it
5.xx - SMEG+
6.xx - SMEG+ IV2

I think you need to hold the SETTINGS button for 10 seconds to determine what version you have.

Hi, first timer here, just bought a Peugeot 508 2012 SW diesel. I had intermittent radio sound which has now stopped but small dash screen shows radio station or disc player. Like it's in mute. However when I bought it the centre screen was black and the consul controller in ragged condition. I have replaced the controller and am waiting for a replacement screen. I now realise I should have joined here first. My VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff], I cannot identify my system as there is so much variation. I would be grateful if you could clarify this and perhaps suggest the best way forward. I basically use phone, nav and radio, anything extra is OK but not essential. Thanks.
