Hi Kenny, yes I have faith in scaffold bar , but couldn't find any lying around, and got the job done anyway, with a chisel to loosen it. Probably got as much power or more than an air impact socket driver. I found that an assistant to steady the hub, in addition to tying with rope, is better.

I have a four foot long 1" breaker bar for swivel joints and hub nuts. They tremble and unscrew themselves out of pure fear when they see me coming armed with my breaker bar

I like a 240v impact wrench and a blowtorch to take them out at home. I find torquing the new ones on the way in a pain. So far I've been using old climbing slings to prevent the hub rotating but its far from ideal.
