Thanks for the comments, I'm pleased with it. With only a few hundred miles under my belt, I've not ventured into sport mode much! But I do love the sound of a V6. Doesn't even need to be particularly fast, just that noise. Bit of a shame the Xantia is too refined to hear it properly. Well, compared with everything else I drive anyway.
Good plumbing on an ES9J then?

Should I worry about the red lights flickering on or is that normal too? Happened twice now, both at motorway speeds. No longer than a couple of seconds. Bled the radiator in case of an airlock, but with no effect.
Got the cruise fixed and you can tell it's a mile eater on the motorway. Haven't tried to work out what it is (or isn't!) doing MPG wise yet. I keep telling myself it can't be worse than the CX Turbo. Am I right in thinking late 20s?
In terms of other fleet notes, still have most of the previous and another GS (project). Done quite a number of miles in the black Turbo over the last 12 months and touch wood only a few LHM leaks, throttle cable snapped (whilst overtaking!

), air leak and alternator. Not bad for a car that hadn't been used for 3 years. Also resurrected my favourite CX estate with a few improvements to DTR T2 standard.
In other news I bought a LR Discovery II TD5 as a replacement tow vehicle for the older 300 TDis I had. Looks the part and a step up from the original, but still not enjoyable to drive. Every journey is an uncomfortable one. Should have bought a C6 instead.
P.S. The dog is doing well too!!
