Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
@dimonito: As I wrote, for those that now have the 42.03.33.42-r0 firmware version installed (converted from NAC_EUR_WAVE3 to NAC_EUR_WAVE4), it's probably better to install the 17.0.0-r0 European maps manually.

The same I want for my car, why not to have the last update?

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
@kakavia: To install any firmware update, you'll need the respective license that you request from the Stellantis servers. But those servers cannot generate a license for a 44.xx.xx.xx firmware until the car connects back and reports that a NAC_EUR_WAVE4 is now installed (the server still has the NAC_EUR_WAVE3 associated with that VIN). Because the cars with the old NAC_EUR_WAVE3 are old enough that almost nobody has a valid TomTom connected service subscription anymore (those were free in the first 3 years and expensive after that), and few have the car connected to a WiFi network configured, it is impossible to report the current firmware version installed. And if you use Bluetooth tethering, you'll need to tick the "mobile data" box in the car profiles (there are also "phone" and "audio streaming" options there).
You won't see anything new with the 44.xx.xx.xx version anyway.
Because there's no license for map updates, you can install the 17.0.0-r0 version, but you have to do it manually - the software that uses Stellantis' Majestic API ("Citroën/DS/Opel/Peugeot/Vauxhall Update" or the "MyCitroën/DS/Opel/Peugeot/Vauxhall" app) is only offering updates for the NAC_EUR_WAVE3, which are no longer valid for your car.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
I have updated my maps thanks to your files.
I don't have Tom tom subscription as you correctly said.
I don't know how to connect to WiFi.
I have connection via Bluetooth.
What I wanted was new maps, now I have them. If you say that there are no major updates to 44.****, I will not even try it.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Finally, something that works! I,ve been searching for solution last 6 months, with the exactly same problem as @owl.rui_saraiva wrote: 23 Oct 2025, 22:22 @owl : So you are in the second case - your car has the 3x.xx.xx.xx firmware version installed, but it is already identified as a NAC_EUR_WAVE4 system. You need to download the latest NAC Wave 4 firmware (44.07.33.32_NAC-r0) and you also need the respective license for that version (MediaVersion/UpdateID 001315031692686757) and your infotainment system serial number/unique identifier (UIN). To do that, you need to know your UIN, a 20-digit hexadecimal number. You might have an old license file ("license_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_001315031*.key") or you could export the current infotainment system configuration to a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive:
- Press the cog/hours (top right corner);
- OPTIONS (lower left);
- System settings (top left);
- System info (lower right);
- Export config.
And it should create 2 files, "instkey_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xml" and "packageslist_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.txt". All those xxx...xxx is your UIN. You can also see your UIN in the "Engineering mode":
- Press and hold the media/audio button (2 semiquavers) for 6 to 7 seconds (use a timer);
- Input 1134 in the code (you should not see any output);
- Input 1122;
- Go to the last page and search for "SUID: (--------------------), UIN: (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)".
Download the license key file for that MediaVersion and UIN at (replace the xxx...xxx with your UIN):Copy that file to a "\license" folder and extract (do not copy) the .tar update file to the same FAT32-formatted USB flash drive.Code: Select all

Edit:
After that firmware update, you could use the official "Citroën/DS/Opel/Peugeot/Vauxhall Update" to download the latest NAC Wave 4 map, map-eur_17.0.0-r0.
Many, many, many thanx to mr @rui_saraiva
It works!!!

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
I use tethering during my every drive and "mobile data" is checked in the corresponding options, I also see on my Iphone that the car connects to my phone as a tehtering client. Do you have any ideas why doesnt stellantis server notice that I am already on wave 4? I can connect the car to my office wifirui_saraiva wrote: 06 Nov 2025, 11:31 @kakavia: To install any firmware update, you'll need the respective license that you request from the Stellantis servers. Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
@rui_saraiva Thanks for the latest information regarding updating from version 31.09.46. I have downloaded the latest version and also the license file. I shall try the update later today. I had given up hope of ever updating!
**Update** latest firmware installed, now looking to update the maps to later than 2019! The Citroen app is only showing version 16, so I shall download version 17 manually.
Thanks
Richard

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Good evening everyone!
Since we have a way to bridge from wave 3 to wave 4 and I can confirm that we can manually install map-eur_17.0.0-r0 which are maps from August 2024., do you know if there will be maps for 2025 any time soon?
Thanks.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
Are you sure that your vehicle has a NAC or RCC unit fitted? I would have have thought it was just a little bit too early.

Yes but which system? As I said I think you will have an earlier type of satnav.

Re: PSA NAC RCC Updates
veksonpu: You can input your VIN on my page to identify your infotainment system. In 2016 there were already some models with RCC Wave 2 and NAC Wave 1 and 2 units.
But if you have an older NAC Wave 1 (NAC_EUR_WAVE1) system, you will only be able to update the maps.

I tried entering the vin on your page but it gives this result:
ERROR: VIN is unsupported.
