It's those brick moths, the caterpillars eat pointing.

Ever seen a cement moth? Easy to recognise: they have blue circles on their wings....

Seen during my run this morning :D
53947501412_53826fff15_k.jpg
On the rear of a garage that does MoTs. They once failed my Sinker Xantia because grease on the rear height corrector cradle was misinterpreted as a hydraulic leak.

I explained why and a pass was issued. They did not understand hydraulic Citroens.

An old friend, who took Xantia for an MoT there was dismayed to find they'd locked-out the keypad.

Needless to say, I've never been back. That was getting on 20 years ago. Things may be better now although I have no desire to find out...

The grease mistake I could let them off, at least they were receptive to an explanation and so did correct their misdiagnosis.

Immobiliser: that's just poor.

That artwork is great, though I'd be more worried about the whole wall falling down, there's definitely been some movement

Gosh yes, would not have noticed that had it not been pointed out Matt... Yes, absolutely, a superb mural and it really cheers up an otherwise scruffy bit of town...

The big sliding door has not moved in decades... I doubt if it would now...

And the whole garage is a bit scruffy and tumbledown...

I was with Mum last week (courtesy of a friend with a spare car), and we visited the National Memorial Arboretum. Although Mum had gone past it a few times in the past, she had not been able to visit. I took a few photographs (I felt it to be wrong to go 'click happy'), but I do recommend those who are interested visit the place (car parking is £6, but the rest is free). All of the photographs are my own work. If you have dogs they are welcome in most of the site, but some locations are for service dogs only.

Cabbage White caterpillars, hundreds of them, well camouflaged though.

Pleased to see them as there have been very few butterflies this year and these will hopefully improve on that next year.

Nasturtiums eh! Don't let the caterpillars eat all the leaves - put 'em in your own salads. Adds a lovely peppery bite, a bit like rocket (the young leaves are more palatable).

Don't fancy that, will stick to Iceberg and let the caterpillars have the Nasturtiums, they need it more then I do.

Tried this today. Short crust pastry with Dijon mustard .grated cheese, sliced toms & herbs de Provence.
Dunno what it tastes like. We're having it for tea.
