One novel model I came across yesterday was this entirely monochrome layout. You may not believe it from the picture so I'll put the proof in the spoiler!! :-D

I'm not seeing the difference, just looks like sheep wool near the dirty end.

That's really quite something! It's actually a true representation of how things were back then - we all know colour did not arrive until the 1970s and the whole world was monochrome before then!

Absolutely Matt  Sepia was a bit before my time but I well remember everything being in black and white :)

Early this morning was very much in colour 8-)

Haven't seen one of those for about twenty years now. There was a girl lived in Jesmond, Newcastle, where I worked, that drove one.

That red bull car is a very rare spot these days, used to see them all the time in London. As for the lorry, I've not seen that before.....

First time I've ever see the Red Bull promotional Ryan... But then I don't get out much. Interesting to know they were once a common sight...

I have NEVER seen one of these on the road...

...until this morning when one drove past on the main road as we drove down our lane towards it! No picture unfortunately.

Here's a picture with a story:
17203811161565035654007972356226.jpg
I've seen this whilst walking my son to school several times over the past few weeks, sat in the grass verge outside the leisure centre. A good distance from the road. Regardless I don't believe they generally fall off without something equally catastrophic like the wheel coming off first and probably the caliper and retaining screw etc. So presumably dumped by some scumbag.

It annoyed me so much that on Friday when walking back from school I picked it up and put it in the boot. Into the scrap metal it will go!!

Almost on the money there!

I was topping the 308 and the C5 tanks up and thought I saw something flash past in the stream of blue fluid. Stopped and got my "tractor funnel" which has this nice five mesh. Filled the reservoir and to my surprise this is how much stuff is growing in the (diluted by me ready to use) fluid! Perhaps I should store it diluted (I normally make up a 5 litre bottle worth, top up the cars on the road and then leave what's left in the 5 litres container, sealed , in the garage. So can sit on the shelf a few week between first filled and 5 l emptied. Long enough to grow stuff seemingly!
