With due acknowledgement to Chesney Hawkes and Bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale also users use of the phrase, this is "The One and Only" Druridge Bay on Good Friday afternoon March 29th 2024.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Thanks Jim, and the fun was had on the steeply sided dunes with a bit of sand sledging for the younger generation improvised on a couple of bodyboards kindly shared with us.
Another Good Friday pic from me. Plenty Easter rabbits in the pic although a good many did run for cover on my approach.

POTD...threads you may not know exist.
Two nuts of diffferent threads welded together. One is the appropriate thread for a ball joint pin, the other for a slide hammer. A very inexpensive "tool" which can help remove stubborn ball joints of the type which the "fat end" of the joint fits into a circular socket in the hub carrier and requires pulling out in a downwards direction but is often rock solid stuck in the hub.

It's nice to have a place for these things, and today Gibbo found an excellent example.

A nice atmospheric shot of Linford Wood from early this morning showing one of the wooden signposts dotted around the wood...

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Nice image Jim. It's a great time of year and the Easter weekend so far has seen plenty of blue skies and fluffy white clouds round here.
Round about here on the little travelled road you get both a different aspect to the normal view of Warkworth Castle
and a nice sign with a border collie on it. Neil

The Falcon Selection
Peter's Cat next to the stovepipe and Jim's end of ultra marathon pic were close, as was the only entry on the last day when the open invitation to contribute was given but not taken up.
My choice for the Falcon Award for March 2024 is one from the most prolific contributor of the month, yours truly, and I liked this composition the best.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
No POTD yesterday as all mine were of my granddaughter and not really appropriate to this area. One picture of a giggly nature has been posted in my blog

Do I detect an early April Fool?

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

No Mick, just leaving the floor open for others, if only for the purely selfish reason on my part that I like to see new content on a daily basis, and I see all of my own content even before it gets posted so nothing new there
