A couple of blokes cutting new carpets for the people that have moved in a couple of doors down.
The irony is that they are right outside a carpet fitters house. That is his XF (broken) and his van over the road.

Seen during my long ultra marathon training run this morning...

Didn't know whether to put it in the Rusty Wrecks or Spotted Classics threads so I put it here in POTD :)

I had a red Escort of that sort of generation bit of a had to purchase. In parts it was the rustiest car I ever had the boot floor was paper thin. It was D-reg 1986 ish and reputedly not untypical for that year in the rust department,
It got rear-ended and nicely crumpled enough to be written off. Replaced it with a pretty high mileage Ford Sierra Estate in Cream which was very solid in the bodywork and paint job department and a decent workhorse for 90,000 miles.

Today's Tryptic pretty much straight out of the tin, from the Countryside in Spring
Probably officially so today in the NH.

One of my lady customers came out jumped in her car and tried to drive away, nothing happened so she called me to have a look, the car was like the one in your picture Jim but on rocks not axle stands. :-D

Lots of new born lambs here but they were on a busy corner so I wasn't able to get a photo.
