Nice one today! Ferrari 308 GTO. Was in the Saab and gave the driver a thumbs up out the window as he passed. He waved back, backed off a bit, dropped a gear then belted past me. Oh...my...word...what a lovely noise...

Restored my faith in owners of exotica after the E-type nonsense last week.

Zel there's points gained there, althought the exact model in the book is the Ferrari 308GTS at 30 points.

This one does not belong to the "weekend promotion" brand list but I hope it will be counted as one of the classic cars Fiat 126p looked definetely as in daily usage, not a museum car which is taken out of the garage only on special occasions.

Well it looks like its somewhere very close to Warszawa, and I am quite happy to extend the triple points weekend offer to a spot from an interesting location. I imagine the exact model will not have made it into the 120 selected for I-Spy Classic Cars, but I am sure the Fiat 500 will be, and a precise mathematical calculation can be done to upgrade the points from a 500 to a 650 pro-rata

Works out at (20x(650/500)x3) 78 points precisely

Well, I know I won't get any points, as I couldn't take any photos (driving, sometimes poor weather conditions), but I saw a Lotus Carlton, a 2cv Dolly (on the back of a tow truck, unfortunately), a Morris 1100E, and three Vauxhall Calibras in a convoy.

It is Podwale street indeed to be precise

- We parked our C5 in the guarded parking lot which I marked in the map.
- Spotted a C5 sedan on the half way up to Podawale Nr.25
- Podwale 25: Kompania Piwna (Beer Company) IS a nice place to visit.
- Spotted the 126p some more steps further ahead during our walk in Old Town.



In general Warsaw is a nice place. Except some crazy drivers there is nothing to complain.
Prices are low compared to many EU countries. Good and cheap food, nice people and good beer.



Warsaw-Berlin motorway is new and speed limit is 140 km/h. I like it

The odds against seeing that particular crop on a journey must rank alongside the odds of winning the national lottery jackpot! 3 Vauxhall calibras and a lotus carlton especially seeing it was after my little post about them.... its a miracle! If you had spotted a "Prince Henry" and a Cresta PA it would have been the full set

Well deserved 40 points for the Lotus Carltton, and a paltry 10 for the Calibras, 2CV 5 points, Morris 1100E ranks alongside a Marina spot for me so 15 Points for that.

I have to confess to having rather a soft spot for the Fiat 126 (and it's Polish cousin), and would rather like one. Likewise I have a *huge* soft spot for the proper Panda. My parents had a 93 L plate Panda 1000 Fire and it was one of the most fun cars I have ever driven. Definitely warranted the "When I grow up I want to be a Ferrari!" Bumper sticker. It went like a scalded cat too because it weighed nothing and would rev like a complete nutter.

...despite the reputation, the only thing it needed in the five years we had it save for normal consumables was a thermostat. Otherwise utterly reliable.

Really miss that little upholstered rollerskate!
