CCC CX, XM and Xantia Rally 2013 - 6/7/8 September.

CXM is up and running with a good turnout already..

The weather is looking quite fair and no significant rain is forecast for the weekend

Hmm. Tired out, still at work. It's an hour and a half away, the car's been toddlered for a week and had a trip to the beach so is full of sand as well. I'm not sure I'll make this one. I'm so tempted to dash up there when I finish at 7am but it's probably not wise. I'd love to meet you all though.. I'm not likely to get any kip though, and I was up at 9am yesterday. Buggeration...

Mike, if you want to go, PM me. I am going, happy to head off early, and it would not be a problem to swing by and pick you up. You might even get a short nap (if I can shut up during the journey!).

If I get up early enough, hoping to be there for around 09:00 ish tomorrow morning. Would be able to stay till lunchtime and then head back.
Wedding Anniversary today and daughters first day at Secondary School on Monday, so been advised need to be back for afternoon/evening

Hoping to be there but hurt my neck a couple of days ago and can't look right, makes driving rather hazardous and it's 230 miles each way

Will assess early tomorrow and leave at am if it is OK.

I'd have loved to have gone James, thanks for the offer of a lift, but I'm knackered. Still got another hour or so to go before I finish too. Last shift until Friday Sunday night, so that's a relief. Gives me some recovery and tinkering time!

I wish I could Jim, but it wouldn't have been safe. I was feeling myself beginning to be too tired to drive by the time I got home, 20 mins from the office

Well, if you change your mind let me know. I have a fairly comfortable folding chair that I will be bringing with me, that you can put you feet up on, and has a padded support for your neck. I won't be setting off until about 07:30.

Really looking forward to another day at the rally today. The trip to the railway was outstanding, really well organised and we were certainly treated very well when there, some unique opportunities for train fans.
