I found a bumper for it, and put 405 seats in, Ive documented the build in the link https://www.instructables.com/Rat-Rod-Rescue/

Brought this a few yr ago didn't pay much
Needed brakes all rebuilt
Body cut back & buffed to a nice shine got rid of that grey,red stripe, it was a meals on wheels van for stevenage council .
Some welding underneath
Put original wheels back on
New primer pump it was sucking in to much air ,engine hard to start, full service , took for mot , went straight through then i sold it , should of kept it .

My first thought was a Fiat X1/9 but the fuel filler is wrong...

Looking at the wheel my inclination was towards a Lancia, maybe a beta spyder but I don't really think so. The front wing is too pointed. Maybe something else from a similar heritage? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Wasn't really intended to be a Whatsthisthen? Knowing what they are and having driven past them many times I thought it was too easy to trouble the FCF faithful with. There is a nice white one at Anglia Car Auctions 1st/2nd April which would fit into the open-top motoring thread nicely, and they do come in some nice colours and often a quirky Tartan interior. I quite like them. Maybe they should have done the bodyshell in aluminium though!
