Hello i have a Peugeot 405 td 95. i have done lots of work to the car including new engine/ cylinder head/ clutch and the list goes on.
i put a second hand diesel pump on it and it runs ok but just want to check the diesel timing to the combuston to make sure its at its peak. Just wondering what kit i need and any ideas of where to get one. CAN ANYONE HELP p.s. it is the bosch pump.

Hi there.
Ive owned my own garage before my devorce as the only way that I could be sure to get the pump correct was to take it to an injection specialist. Autodata do a range of book that might help, also Haynes. Try them. From memory you will need a lot of special tools like 2 very accurate dial guages and at least one Mag mount.
That the othe reason is the cost of the tools as you will only need to use them on the pump a couple of times in the cars life. Although a dial guage and mag mount are handy for checking the "Run Out" on the items that spin, ie Disks.
