CLIO N REG PETROL

Hi
Ive got a renault clio n reg petrol, only just got it with 1 key/remote. The proplem is i cant turn the alarm/immobiliser off. Ive checked the battery and had the remote checked.
Does anyone know how to either disconnect the immo or can they point me in the right direction.
