Hello. I have done lots of research on diagnostics kits and was just about to buy Diagbox 7.57 with Lexia 3 when I read the warning posted on this forum by GiveMeABreak.
All I want to do is clear fault codes and understand, as far as possible, what is wrong with my car before going to a garage. Mileage on my 2012 Semi-auto Berlingo is 47000. I have had repeated 'risk of clogging' warnings that have gone away after giving the car a good run. Currently, this fix is not working, performance is reduced and the engine fan runs continuously. This is the only problem I have had with the car in 3 years of ownership.
Will Diagbox 7.57 tell me how much soot there is in my DPF? I know Lexia 3 has been discontinued. Is there a newer interface that will help me diagnose my DPF problem?
I've spoken to several garages - some tell me I've got a gearbox problem, others that I need a DPF clean. I've not paid anyone to do a diagnostic yet. Very grateful for help.

7.57 should be OK for a 2012 car. You'll need to see the codes and live data to try and figure out what's up with it.

7.57 was OK on our 2013 X7, so I'd say yes as well. Having said that I took it a bit further to 7.58.
