I am very interested in the 1.4 XS. The early 1.4 had 65bhp-ish. I was curious what they have made the XS output of 85bhp, which is 20bhp more.
Is XS suspension firm or all 205 are same?
Because I am interested to look for one XS.

Nice to talk about a real old Peugeot. We called the 205XS the poor man`s 205GTI as it looked like and had the suspension and brakes of a 1.6GTi, and a tweaked TU3 engine and a double barrel carburettor. Went like a rocket.
Looking at your fleet of cars you like your Peugeot/Citroens and know what to look for. As you well know its a very old car, so it all depends on how its been kept. All the rust issues, the dreaded rear radius arm bearings.
If all is good it could well be a classic.
