RT3/RT4 LCD display info

This is the RT3 unit and was made by Magneti Marelli
The RT3 was available in a few different hardware versions, the later ones supporting MP3 playback. These units had an optical connection to the Display Screen.

If you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then pop your VIN up.

I don't understand what you want. The display units are entirely different between most telematics units and most require a specific model to be compatible. Rt3 has an optical connection, others use LVDS, there are different resolutions (Low Res / High Res) and some Head units require a High Res screen to work.

I want to know who manufactures the screen with the part number 6563 (EG), that is compatible with the RT3 and what screen the RT4 and RD4 use.

Well that's not a valid part number. But as I said that info is not available from Citroen, you'd have to check the back and see if it has a label.

That's old data 10 years old. PSA do not supply their data any longer online to auto suppliers like this, so that part has been replaced and no longer available.

That doesn't change the situation - the information you require is not available from official sources - PSA don't provide this sort of info in most cases apart from the part number.

So the only way to get this information is by forum intelligence :) (people who had the part and are repairing or replacing it).

And there won't be many of those now given that spares are rarely available for these old systems on the second hand market now, but good luck.
