How do I get into the shifter housing on an automatic? A water bottle rolled off my seat and hit the "winter" and "S" buttons, causing them to fall in.
I would like to fix this but don't want to damage anything.

You will need to tell us which version of the C5 you have, and whether it is a proper automatic or a semi automatic with the ESG gearbox.
