Benefits of common components across manufacturers. That, plus a switched on mechanic who knew a thing or two.

He did need the nudge from me!

James your powers of observation are impressive!! (Note the 4th line in the Advert!) :-D
I didn't read the advert, I just remembered the FCF post! Mind you, my observation skills seem to match your spelling ones! :-D It went for £5,500.
Toochay!! :-D

I have deliberately not picked out an individual car from this sale as there are many options which will interest various members from tractors to three wheelers!! There are a few barn finds and of course a 2CV to authenticate the connection!! :-D

Wouldn't have got that one MIck, "monkey bike" came to mind but obviously not, but on a Beatles related monkey bike tangent this may be of some interest

Another 1976 classic (the car not the blazer and flared trousers of the presenter!)

and a reminder of the "Thames Television" theme (bing, bong bing-bong thames television) and animation.

So this one doesn't really qualify for this thread but I am using phonetic license!! :-D (I don't know what that is either!)

This is a barn find which will be a very satisfying project and almost certainly make you a small fortune, as long as you start with a vast fortune!! :-D
