That will help see which system you have. Please just type it in full here as our software automatically masks it for your protection - but staff can read it.

Vin number is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I also am struggling to work out what is what on the heater diagram, if you could explain some more that would be appreciated.

Re: - DS4 heater not working
You have the system as per the diagram on this post from the previous page:
viewtopic.php?p=616322#p616322
Item (2) is the blower control module. If your fan speed is all or nothing then this will be the cause - or if it is barely operating, then it could be either the blower control module - or damp causing the motor bearings to seize as explained elsewhere - which can prevent the designed slow spin up of the motor.

Re: - DS4 heater not working
Thank you Marc
When I start the car I can hear the motor attempt to kick in and it seems to spool at low revs then stop, so I would think maybe the motor bearings are siezed? But when I put my hand over the vent there is no air coming from them... what do you think that points to? Or would a strip down or diagnostic be best?

There won't be much air coming out if the Blower Motor is not working / hardly turning. When the Blower Modules go, the fan usually defaults to full speed (i.e. no resistance to decrease the speed). But if you have got some speed going albeit very slowly then it may be insufficient to be effective. Try adjusting the air direction to vents only so you can feel if there is any welly in the motor.

Thanks for your response There you can just feel it when you out your hand over the blower and thats it, to the point it wouldnt blow a match out... what would you point that to?
