Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I just popped out to get the mileage readings and found the sunset ebbing away:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Entertainment of the musical variety is always on offer at The Pickled Egg. There is the famous Pickled Egg Jukebox, and Tonight's entertainment bank holiday special is to select tracks with the best intros. So that once the coin is placed in the machine, and the selection made, the assembled throng in the pub sit up take notice and tap their feet or suffer some other involuntary animation.
Regards Neil
There are quieter rooms too in the Pickled Egg where a more contemplative and personal musical experience can be had..

We now have our own little 'Banksy' in Paggers
It's actually not, just a small bit of poorly stencilled graffiti... It look bigger in the photo than it actually is...

It's that time of year again.......... well, actually, it's about two weeks earlier than that time of year again for those of you with good memories. The annual unveiling for this years brood of cygents at work They made their first public appearance today - these will probably be less than a week old. They're around two weeks earlier than last year's brood, and nearly a month earlier than the previous years. But the main event - there's nine of the little things this time

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
We took our son when he was just a kid down to Slapton Sands, there are loads of water birds there. He wanted to feed them so we gave him a lump of bread and a young swan nicked it of him, he was telling everyone that he had been bitten by a magnet.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
One thing with the swans is that their aim isn't very good If I get anyone to feed the cob by hand, I do warn them first that it'll probably get their fingers at some point, but they should hold their ground as it hasn't got any teeth and it certainly can't bite. It's not interested in eating fingers anyway - it prefers the proper food or corn
Swan wings, on the other hand.... now they can hurt
