I take it this is the 2.0 138 (DW10BTED4), not the 2.2 136?
Fault Code: P1461
Description of Fault:Electric EGR valve position copy signal: Difference between the stops programmed at long-term. Slow or rapid drift on initialisation of the EGR bottom stop for 100 ms
Conditions for Fault to clear: Driving for 5 minutes
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:Exhaust gas recycling (EGR) cut-off
Initialisation the next time the engine ECU goes to sleep
Symptoms: Engine hesitating, cutting out
Smoke from the exhaust
Starting problem
Suspect Areas:Electrical harness
Connector
Electric exhaust gas recycling valve

Hiya Marc, thanks for reply. Yes its the same as your C5 II only gold, not black.
Symptoms; starts fine, haven't noticed excessive smoke, all is fine until engine up to temp, then, almost no boost.
Feels like a pre-turbo diesel like an old ZX I used to have.
Still have no idea where to start looking, HEEEEELP !

Check the thermostat - is the car gauge showing heating up normally or too fast? If the engine ECU thinks the car is overheating it may stop the turbo boost - especially as you say this is happening when the car is up to temperature.

I'd check ALL your vacuum hoses for leaks and all your turbo hoses too - make sure they aren't kinked or sticking together when hot.
