DS7 blue180 - what sort of AdBlue consumption are users getting?
I have no idea how much was in the tank when delivered new from the dealer as unlike fuel there is no gauge. I have done 2400 miles so far and no low warning messages yet.

Re: AdBlue consumption
There is about 17 litres capacity in the AdBlue tank, - range of about 5,600 Miles or 9,000 Kms - but does vary significantly on driving style. You will get a warning when you hit the reserve level - and then you can do another 1,500 miles or 2,400 Km max before the vehicle will not operate. So either keep it regularly topped up or if you do get the warning - don't leave it too long.

Re: AdBlue consumption
Our C4 grand Picasso with the 120 blue HDI engine is using about 1.25litres / 1000 miles. We're getting about 42mpg in mixed use so that equates to a bit more than 0.01 litres AdBlue per litre of diesel used. This will give you some idea based on your diesel consumption.

Re: AdBlue consumption
Thanks everyone. I've got a 10 litre plastic can ready but sounds like I won't need it for a while.

Well at the end of the day it is only UREA, so I guess in an emergency...... but then again, perhaps not

Re: AdBlue consumption
Cannot comment on what the consumption is but somewhere within the menu settings there will be a level indicator, it may not be called AdBlue, could be something like additive etc but will probably be shown as a %, knowing the 100% level does help to work out the remaining % but it will be there somewhere.
Purely from a HGV drivers view, if the AdBlue level gets to below 10% level it will put it into limp mode, you should get low level warnings before it gets to that level.

Re: AdBlue consumption
Just a warning, no level indicator Colin, which is why they tell you how far you can go once it comes on. Same as there is no DPF additive level - just the low level warning, that gives you ample time to top it up.
