I've posted a few times about the Xantia I'm getting in Australia. Well after weeks of faff, posting a catalytic converter, bringing spheres and getting it through their Roadworthy Certification I finally have it! Still unregistered, but Unregistered Vehicle Permit in hand I drove it from Ballarat to its new home in Melbourne. Got to have a good go with it, and loved every minute. Had a smile on my face all the way.
I love its performance, or at least I did when I stopped driving it like my diesels back in the UK - there's life after 3k revs!. I'm so impressed with the adjustable suspension. I'm not yet sure what the purpose is but hey it's immensely cool so I'll take that. And good god it's a beaut.
I hope it treats me well, I know I'll appreciate it every mile I drive it.
It has its, um, character, and I have a few questions but I'll save that for another post. I'll call this my Xantia appreciation thread!

Congratulations does look well cared for.
And i must admit the 2.0 16v is a cracking engine and just seems to keep on giving

It looks a nice car there Ken, well done. If you are not sure what the adjustable suspension is for, have a look at the following thread which will give you an idea or two:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Looking good. Hydractive, judging by the engine bay shot (10mm sphere pipes), so should be plenty of fun.
Ride height (2nd photo) looks a bit on the high side, if that's in Normal position. Xantia experts will know...
