There is an epic tale about Karelia that I keep meaning to read. Kalevala.
Some very interesting history to it as well.

Re: Citroen C5 suspension fault rises but then not level on unever ground
Hi Again,
Urgent help, garage tell me the front passanger side shock absorber has gone and ths is a Citroen only part and needs a special way to depressurise and then pressurise again.
I was in an accident this morning on the A55 in my other car, full spin out and crash into the barrier. Car is sadly a write off but I am ok!
Now desperate for the Citroen to be back in action.
Any help appreciated greatly!
Andy

Sorry Marc should say not Swedish. I think Neelix would have approved though

Common problem on X7s. Marc has had it and sourced replacement struts from Poland at a much better price than in the UK - genuine part too.
Have a read through this thread.

Yes, 5271L5 for the left and 5271L6 for the right side as you sit behind the wheel.

Done and dusted, it is for the front left.
Will this need to be fitted at a specialized Citroen garage? None near me so will be an issue or information how my garage can do this?

Re: Citroen C5 suspension fault rises but then not level on unever ground
Ok so the hydraulic system needs to be depressurised for this job. You have a choice of manually depressurising the front axle or using Diagbox / Lexia to depressurise the whole system.
You'll need lots of LDS fluid - possibly 2-3 litres, as you will loose some when removing the strut. When I had mine done, I bought the strut myself and then got my dealer to fit only - but forgot about the LDS fluid and so thy charged me for about 3 litres at treble the price I could get it elsewhere!

Re: Citroen C5 suspension fault rises but then not level on unever ground
Andy - here is the manual method:
Place a hose on the pressure release screw (1).
Gradually unscrew the pressure release screw (1).
Wait for the pressure in the hydraulic circuit to fall fully.
