Saw a bit of the BBC 2 Documentary series about Thatcher yesterday. Those of a certain age will recall that she was at an event in Paris whilst the leadership ballot (which effectively ended it for her) took place.
Momentary glimpses - on her journey from the British Embassy to a formal dinner she rode in a LWB CX limo, on the way there you see her escort car, a BX no less. Return in the CX, no sight of the BX.

Roger Moore had a thing for french cars - check out his Bond movies and see how many you can spot!!

I often look out for them. Saw one in The Living Daylights not long ago. You have to be looking hard to spot this one.

Rog has even appeared in the FCF's very own Whatsthisthen? thread a couple of times including in half of a Renault 11 from A view to a Kill.

Going through some old video clips I came across this:
The question is can anyone identify the programme?

Who was operating the camera?
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Re: French cars in films
I think the mystery Renault could be an Avantime:
the interior view in the film has similarities:
and of course it's the sort of car May would use, given his declared love for it in the "Should you modify your car?" film in Top Gear.
