Is it not in the central display?
Operate the height buttons and see what it does.
Sometimes can take a few seconds for it to react.

The level is displayed on the multifunction screen on top of the dashboard, not the instrument display on MK I and MK II C5s. The display does not permanently display the position of the height setting, only when it has been changed from normal and then only intermittently, unless speed limits are exceeded for the selected height at which point it will lower to normal setting automatically to prevent damage.
