Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

I just wish they wouldn't put the batteries on the roof of busses. That surely raises the centre of gravity and makes the bus less stable. It's the "easy" but decidedly non-optimal solution from an engineering perspective.

I guess the reason they do it is that city busses usually have a low floor design that wouldn't leave much room for batteries below the floor unless the floor was raised a bit, at least with current battery technology.

Coach busses with their already high floors with luggage underneath could probably fit batteries below though.

THis sort of thing....charging points at shopping car parks...should be spreading like wildfire...but not yet...just a couple at the moment here, and a very rare beast in these parts a Renault Zoe. Plugged into number 1.

Dear Sir,
That sort of thing just wouldn't happen in Guildford. And certainly not in Godalming.

:rofl2: to all of the above ...

Sorry for dragging this most serious and academically highbrow topic into the realms of comedy...

Here's me thinking the Northumberland was a Zoe desert and withing a few days of my last spot, I see another one. I can confirm that it wasn't the same one...a white five-pointer but a very pale blue example for which I will award myself 15 points.

See Zoes & Leafs all the time here. A Toyota hybrid last week and possibly an iPace (unconfirmed).

White Tesla S yesterday on our way to get my daughters temporary Fiat 500 from the bottom of the ice and snow covered hill where it was stuck at the bottom.

My son said it was the first Tesla he had seen.
