Find what manual Ektor? I'm not aware of any manual specifically for these pumps...

Re: Lucas/Delphi Injector Pump leak
Hello,
I have the self same problem on a Berliingo Van 02 reg with 107,000 on the clock. Is there a specific date that the 'armour' often referred to was applied? Mine does not appear to have it and if so this can save me a lot of money to get fixed. Many thanks.

Re: Lucas/Delphi Injector Pump leak
Hi all,
I too have the above problem with my Delphi fuel pump, mine is also leaking from the throttle spindle but I don’t have the confidence to carry out the work myself.
I’ve tried 4 local mechanics who have all said the pump needs to be removed and sent to an specialist.
Is there anybody out there who fancies a crack at it? Or knows somebody that does?,I’ve ordered an repair kit containing all the necessary ‘o’rings etc.I live near Heathrow airport area, the car is still driveable and I’m willing to travel to you within reason
Thank you
John

Re: Lucas/Delphi Injector Pump leak
Thanks Marc,I would imagine the pump would have to be removed for them to work on.Was hoping to avoid that if I can.The above detail on how to fix in situ sounds easy but obviously not as easy as it reads,I’ve had a fith mechanics tell me this morning to go to a diesel specialist in Egham near me.

Re: Lucas/Delphi Injector Pump leak
They probably won't be willing to do just the top cover o ring due to warranty, ask anyway, if they say no ask if they'll do it without a receipt or if one of their chaps could do it on a lunch break?
Many mechanics won't touch injection pumps, they just send them off.
