I have a Renault Grand Scenic 2013. It had its second new turbo fitted before Christmas 2017 having done 140,000 miles and having the first turbo done under warranty in march 16.
It came up with a Stop warning last week and showed engine failure
It had been dipped two days earlier and was well over half full and my local garage is now telling me it is seized due to no oil!!
Firstly should I not have got a low oil warning light and secondly if it was approaching being seized would I not get other warning alerts??
Quoting £4K for a new engine too. Is this about right??
Cheers
Phil

That sound like a typical debris from the failed turbo blocking the oil supply problem.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.
