Now, to return to sanity - or, at least, H-vans:-
Not the V8 one then, (a) not diesel (b) would do 100 towing a trailer with 2 2CV shells on it.

One of the foodtruck converters do an engine (& brake) upgrade, so that non-aficionados can use (i.e. buy) them. Dunnu what lump they use, but it employs a R30 (aaaargh, sacrilege!) transaxle!

Nice day so more work done, drive shafts are finished, front brakes cleaned up and sorted, also a stuck calliper piston, had to get the damned thing out and clean it up so had to bleed the front brakes now have an ABS fault when in drive on the jack, keeps grabbing the disks so maybe a sensor but time ran out.

Changed the oil and filter and air filter, that oil sure was black, so the oil filled bucket is under the car and you drop the spanner you're using for the filter, anyone guess where the spanner lands

It's boring here..................rained off again.

So my old mate gave me an old Dell laptop with XP to use with Diagbox, he said just wipe whatever's on it but I've discovered a lot of family photos, his late wife and the children and decided to save them to disk in case if he don't want them his kids might.

So I managed to burn one folder full but another folder doesn't put up the burn to disk option and I can't think how, any advice?

I never updated you on the burning problem, turned out that the photos had been taken on some super duper SLR camera, when I checked the size they were huge, much too big for the burning programme, scaled them down to size by using the 'email this image' utility and managed to get it all done.

No more progress on the C5 for now sorry.

Progress on the C5, now in running order............almost, had a ride up and down the close in it, have fixed/cleaned up all the brakes, had a duff ABS sensor LH front which I've replaced but have an ESP problem, code C1310 the yaw sensor according to the diagnostic kit (not Lexia still haven't got that to work on a laptop, my neighbour's grandson lent me a Snap on Solus Edge for the weekend)
Loads of these listed on Ebay new and used, anyone know if it's going to be definitely the unit or maybe something else telling me lies before I lash out the cash? Also is it possible that a good bouncy drive might shake it back into life, it has been standing for near four years.

I don't know if it is one of those faults that may go away if the car is driven a few times.
