Excellent pics again Husky and hopefully may provide a bit of inspiration for a bit of Aircraft photography from others. Here's a gallery of some of my efforts from the POTD archives, to encourage more plane pics on POTD :-D

Ithaka
BY C. P. CAVAFY
TRANSLATED BY EDMUND KEELEY

As you set out for Ithaka
hope your road is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
angry Poseidon—don’t be afraid of them:
you’ll never find things like that on your way
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your spirit and your body.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
wild Poseidon—you won’t encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

There'll soon be a carport over the driveway :)

Stick some solar panels on your carport...........and your roof Jim. :-D
I've just been looking at the info from my solar and battery back up, I haven't drawn a single watt of electric from the grid for the last six weeks, everything's run off the solar set up.
Still got to pay the damned daily standing charge though.

I don't have a battery backup but use about 6kWh a day on top of the solar.
Yesterday was only 3kWh :)

Something I've been cogitating for a while now Eric... The carport might pay for itself very quickly!
