That's odd. It normally just comes up with Activation failed if the generated key is incorrect.

One point that is required on the keygen I've used is that the version must be entered as LEXIA-345 and not the exact version as shown in the [INFO ]section of version.txt.

You have the correct numbers recovered from the Lexia Office Activation screen entered in the right fields in the keygen?

What does the key generated by the keygen look like? It should look a bit like a Windows XP licence key.

say something like KG3XX-GFD4E-CCV8Y and so on.

Are you pasting int the activation screen or manually typing it? I've noticed with my keygen that the key can disappear and go blank when trying to copy it. Also, make sure when entering the key by pasting it that you're not accidentally pasting in a leading or trailing space.

That's excellent Paul... Just a straightforward activation failure.

Can you go through the Activation procedure again and write down exactly what comes up on the Lexia Office Activation screen and what fields in the keygen you're putting the data into. The field names on the keygen don't exactly match what appears on the Lexia Activation Screen and there's scope for confusion there. Also, don't worry if the computer ID number comes up as a zero. It's valid. What customer ID are you using. Something like CH001? It should be on the activation screen.

The activation key must be generated with the Lexia Office still open and connected to the pod; the pod must be alive too (i.e. geen light glowing). Activation will fail if you exit Lexia Office, generate a key and then restart Lexia Office to enter it...

We'll get there

Paul, you appear to have V46 there..

In the keygen try entering LEXIA-346 as the number of the version and trying again...

If that fails Then I suggest you acquire a copy of the V45 software we know works

Excellent news Paul :-D :-D Terriffic!

Is that the RPO Number? That's the build code of the car and gives the date of manufacture in a coded format. It's normally found in later cars on a white label in the door shut below the tyre pressure information and along with the paint code. The number often ends in CJ to identify the factory the car was built in.

earlier cars often had the RPO number stenciled in yellow paint under the bonnet somewhere. On Xantias for instance it was stencilled on the driver's side bulkhead just behind the strut top. The RPO number moved to the white label in the door around 1999.

Even easier than RapidShare... If yo have any PC that can read the DVD then copy the contents from the DVD to a USB stick and install using that.

Birdman, what's the advantages and benefits of upgrading from V45 to V46 or V47?

I can only say for a Xantia but it's dead simple so long as you have the transponder code. The Lexia 'holds your hand' right through the process :-D
